Some of our forms date back to Drupal 5, with tweaks to make them comply with changes to Drupal's FAPI. Especially when it comes to AJAX, field visibility, and such, we've been doing a bunch of stuff ourselves, since Drupal's FAPI didn't have built-in support for such niceties. However, Drupal has evolved quite a bit. We should be able to shed a bunch of code by better using what Drupal 7 provides out-of-the-box.

As a first step, I converted the platform publish path field to a 'machine_name'. This provides functionality equivalent to hosting_platform_pathauto, which I have removed from hostmaster as a result. Note that the JS for this is in d7 core, so no custom JS was required here.
