This module provides a Views display handler called "Homebox".
It is similar to block, except additional processing is done to place exposed filters into the Homebox per-block config area and store their values with the Homebox.
If you've used the Drupal.org dashboard you may be familiar with the similarly-looking exposed filters where you can set a Homebox to follow a specific project - but they are hard coded in a custom block definition.
This allows for multiple Views blocks on the same Homebox layout with different filter configurations from the View's own exposed filters, without any custom development.
