Could you attach test instructions to e.g. README.md ?

I also created 3.x branch for supporting only supported versions of Drupal core and PHP. I think same thing works there as it is?

I don't think there's anything special that should be documented in README, they just need to be configured on drupal.org: https://www.drupal.org/drupalorg/docs/drupal-ci/using-drupalci-on-drupalorg
