This field provides a mechanism to add subheads and "superheads" -- text above a headline -- to headlines in a semantic and flexible manner. This module uses a pattern described by this recommendation from the W3C. This is intended as an alternative to the common (but wrong!) process of jamming two Hs together.
Three fields are made available:
- Superhead (Text above a headline)
- Headline
- Subhead (Text below a headline)
Configuration options are provided to hide or show the superhead / subhead fields on content entry; there is also a configuration option that allows the headline to either override or copy the page title. A formatter is provided that follows Example #3 from the W3C link above, but other patterns may be provided through additional formatters. Class names and the root tag are set in the field display settings.
