Hi,

So - as a complete php n00b, I have a question that likely has a simple solution with regards to the coding in the Happy Pixels Theme...

the site logo area has a white block surrounding it. I would like to remove the block so the logo appears on a "clear" background - ie simply rests on the banner at the page head.

The current code is:

// $Id: page.tpl.php,v 1.1.2.2 2008/10/15 18:37:14 flobruit Exp $

"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
print $language->language " lang=" print $language->language " dir=" print $language->dir ">

print $head_title
print $head
print $styles
print $scripts

print $body_classes; ">

print $header;

print $breadcrumb;

if ($left):

endif;

if ($mission): print '<div id="mission">'. $mission .'</div>'; endif;
if ($tabs): print '<div id="tabs-wrapper" class="clear-block">'; endif;
if ($title): print '<h2'. ($tabs ? ' class="with-tabs"' : '') .'>'. $title .'</h2>'; endif;
if ($tabs): print '<ul class="tabs primary">'. $tabs .'</ul></div>'; endif;
if ($tabs2): print '<ul class="tabs secondary">'. $tabs2 .'</ul>'; endif;
if ($show_messages && $messages): print $messages; endif;
print $help;
print $content

if ($right):

endif;

print $closure

Could someone please let me know what to add/ delete from the coding in order to remove the white box in the site logo area?

Here's the site I'm referring to (with the white box surrounding the site logo.

Hi Scott,

You don't actually need to change the template to remove the white background, you can simply change it in the css stylesheet. The css selector for the header is #wrapper #container #header h1, so you can just set that to have background: none; and also set border: none; on the <a> tag inside of it.

I'm planning to do more work on the Happy Pixels theme, and might add configurable theme settings that don't require to mess with the files. I'd be happy to get your feedback on that.

Flobruit,

Great Thanks for the info...That's exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want to change the coding before I knew exactly what I was doing!
I have just entered the world of Drupal and am learning as I go. I think having configurable settings would be a great asset on any theme. Although, it would prevent people like me asking questions to get helpful information from the community! :)

Thanks again,
Scott
