I've created a poll here http://groups.drupal.org/node/48578 three people voted.
After i modified one of the options's text and saved it. The vote results became empty and i also can't vote

The poll status was set to "closed" - that is why you can no longer vote. I'm not sure why the vote values were lost.

Re: losing all the vote values: perhaps this bug is still active? #67895: editing a poll clears all old votes. poll.module sux. #61285: Remove poll module from core anyone? ;)

Polls can't be reopened or have vote counts modified back to original value.

It's like the poll node AND all it's data just dies if you edit a poll. This has happened to me now several times, including on one I just edited to tag (after getting a vocab created for the group)

Ok, that makes sense. I probably wasn't seeing the problem on g.d.o since I have some more admin permissions.

I'm not sure what to do. I just tried to replicate this on a local install and it didn't happen, so this doesn't seem to be a core bug.

If anyone wants to help debug let me know and we can get you access to the code.
