See http://drupal.org/project/google_fonts - looks pretty much the same. Have you considered joining forces with that project?

sreynen commentedYeah, this looks very much like an unnecessary duplicate. If there is a good reason for a separate module here (and I really can't imagine what that might be), it should be stated clearly on the project description.
btmash commentedActually it is quite (VERY) different - google fonts currently only supports the fonts that are a part of the google font directory (it is not an implementation of the google webfont loader api, which, aside from supporting google fonts, also supports typekit and other font provider resources (ie: you can use define a font-face linking a font from another domain such as font squirrel or to your own font on the same server). If anything, it is actually closer in spirit to http://drupal.org/project/fontyourface by sreynen. I have not yet written out the project description page but that is very much on my TODO list.
I have no problem in collaborating with the BarisW (or sreynen since that module is much closer to what I am doing) on the google fonts module (I think that module is fairly well written :)) but I do see a very large difference not only in what type of fonts are served to the user but also in how everything is defined (or gets defined), implemented (his solution does not require javascript while mine does as part of implementing google webfont loader api and this would be a CRUCIAL difference in behaviour), and what the goals of the module(s) are.
EDIT: As a second note, I understand that the only defined font that is currently in there is for Josefin from google which would make it seem even more like a duplicate of the google fonts module. I am in the process of adding another font (Cantarell - the version on Font Squirrel which has a GPL license.) to give a better idea of the difference.
