Recent activity in github suggests that WFL now supports fontdeck natively. I need to figure out the hooks so that calls can be done with fontdeck which is in the format:

I've added in support for both fontdeck and ascender - it will be in the latest dev and pending some more testing (as I wanted to reorganize some of the code), should be up in stable within the next couple of weeks. The patch(es) also need to be ported to the D7 branch.
