I realized the beta was just released yesterday and won't be keeping my hopes up of this happening anytime soon, but this looks very promising especially if each event and project could have its own documents (possibly through CCK?). Will keep my eye on the development of this.

Hello and thank you for the hint(s). I do really think that an integration with the Project module would be a great addition, and maybe I could go down that road (I use that module in one project of mine). I'm not sure, though, how could I exactly integrate the module with CCK... I really don't know that beast very well :) If, of course, the "integration part" would bring significative value to this project, I probably would add some kind of "API" so that other modules could "hook" the functionalities of this one (something like registering as a "client" for the module, and then requesting the document list so that my module could be an API "proxy" towards Google Docs).
What I need to bring to the module in the near future (read: next in my TODO) is the upload and the folder browsing features... stay tuned :)
