Hello
I can't seem to find a way to make the refinements/labels (configured in the google CSE) show up in the google CSE results, even if I use the "google hosted" option.
See the difference betwee http://newgp.scot/search/google and http://newgp.scot/gpsearch

Is this possible? Thank you

I have the same problem on http://www.q-tran.com/search/google.

Many of the search results are PDF or other file types (e.g. search on the word 'vault').

When testing in the Google Search Console (https://cse.google.com/cse/lookandfeel/layout), the following label appears after the link "File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat". As with drtallsimon, in the Google CSE module configuration we changed the 'Layout of Search Engine' setting to 'Google hosted', but this had no impact on the UI.

I can't gather what you two mean by this issue. Some of the links you posted no longer work.

I see in one link when I search for "vault" that there is "document" next to the results that are PDFs, and I think you want that to be more specific with "Document PDF" or something like that?

I can't see anything currently in the CSE admin screen on Google in look and feel that talks about refinements/labels.

I will mark this issue as "needs more info" for now and close it if I don't see a response in a couple weeks.
