Little confused here, sorry if this is a dumb question!

I want my search function to act like a normal Google search, like you would do on google.com. I don't want it to search this site, or only from a list of defined sites, but all of the web. How do I do this? Not sure if I'm barking up the wrong tree here..

Hi

I'm not sure what you need exactly but I think you should check this page Google CSE .

This module does the search just on one site based on a api key (which in this case it's the paid version of google cse).
I think the account on google cse will ofer you to choose the sites you want to search in and then you can use this module to show results from those websites.
