I am trying to create a Google Map with views that displays different markers based on taxonomy terms. Gmap Taxonomy is enabled. Each term has a different Marker enabled in the Taxonomy area. GMap Marker Handling settings in the view is set to By Term (for node views).
When the map displays all the terms come up with the same marker instead of the different ones I have specified for them.
I have also cleared all the caches and regenerated the marker cache, but to avail. Can anyone help?

mholloway commentedI had a similar problem with taxonomy based markers not being recognised. I tracked it down to what I think is an error in the way the gmap taxonomy module reads the node's taxonomy.
The attached patch fixed the problem for me.
Details
gmap taxonomy module seems to be expecting $node->taxonomy to be keyed by vocab id when in fact it is keyed by term id.

lyjab commentedHello,
I am having the same issue but your patch does not seem to be enough. Is there any special task to do after changing the code?
i have already resaved all the terms, the views, emptied the cache.
Thank you in advance for your help.

lyjab commentedActually, there is no need to change the code. You just need to be sure that the vocabulary allows just one term per node.
Multiple terms are not supported (which is quite understandable, since it would mean multiple markers per node ...).
