I have a gmap with placemarks showing different project locations for different years. I would like to have radio buttons representing each year added to the side of the map that will allow me turn it off and on and the corresponding placemarks showing up and disappearing in the map. Ive been reading up and watching quite a few videos but I think its just confused me. Im assuming I have to set up views, use taxonomy, etc, etc. Just dont know where to start. There also is not much documentation out there. I want to create something similar to the opengreenmap shown below:
