Hi,
I have a view that displays a table with exposed filters (cck fields). It works perfectly. [NOTE: The only important thing here is that this view cannot be a page, since I will insert it afterwards into a node using views_get_view().]
The problem is that I add an Attachment display, and everytime I try to set the style of this display to GMap, the original display changes to GMap too! I need to have a table and a map below, but I keep getting 2 tables.
Also the table display provides results but, with the same filters and settings, the GMap display gives an empty response.
Thanks.

merlinofchaos commentedas per the submission guidelines you should file this against gmap.

alextronic commentedHi merlin,
I am not filing this against gmap yet because the same I have the same issue when I try to use any other style for the attachment display: html list, grid..., whatever style I choose, the original display's style changes to reflect it (the Style option appears in italic as if it were not changeable). I'd forget about the secondary question (gmap not giving results) until I fix this problem.
Thanks!
Alex

alextronic commentedThank you merlin. Sorry.
Filing this against gmap for not giving results. Hope the exported views help.

vosechu commentedJust thought I would pop in and mention that I had a similar problem but I found a solution. Check out the database folder inside the location module, there's extra sql to be imported if you want to use the distance calculator in a view. There are some instructions in the INSTALLATION.txt for the location module.
