a personal user map with their nodes marked

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is possible but is there a way to create a map that would be in a block on the /user/% page and the map would list only the locations the user has posted in a Story node? On my page users post a lot of stories with map markers but I can't figure out how to create a View with a gMap with only that user's nodes.

and then, is there a way the user could also have an option to see on the map just the Stories that their friends have posted?
