After installing the latest 4.7.0 rc 2 system, and downloading the gmap module,
while following the instructions, I got the error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function form_textfield() in
/www/drupal-4-7-0-rc2/sites/www.domain.com/modules/gmap/gmap.module on line 316

Make sure you download the version of gmap for drupal 4.7.

Goto http://drupal.org/node/33591/release and download the 4.7 version.

Thank you, that is the correct answer, I have moved forward on the process. The website downloading is a bit hard to make sure that you have the right version.
