Insert Additional Variables in maps.googleapis.com URL

I use the Gmap module in a NOAA government website and we have been given a new requirement to add the variable "client" and "channel" to our API call. If you can't add a feature to allow that, can you give me a clue as to where that URL is built so I can try to do so myself? Thanks.
