Hi,

Relatively new to Drupal so let me appoligies in advance if I have missed something really straight forward. However I am having real trouble with the markers in both the GMap macro maker and the a page node used to display a Map using a GMap created macro. More specifically if you visit the website using http://www the markers do not display if you omit the www when visiting the site no problems everything is present and correct. I have tried visiting the site from different machines and internet enabled location and the issue occurs consitantly in all case regardless of web browser.

Now as I have said not problem without the www prefix but all redirects from other sources including Google's search engine include the www prefix so all visitors will be unable to view the markers and zoom control.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Thanks

J.

sounds to me like when you created your google map api key you didn't add the www to the domain name. Try creating a new key and adding the www to it.

Thanks for responding richygecko I have checked the API keys and the one I have been using was for the www address so for completness I generated a key for use without. Either key works fine for the address without www but neither works if the site is viewed using www. In both cases I manual ran the cron job to make sure that the everything was fully up to date but it made no differeance.

I am assuming that the DNS A Record must be correct as the site is found without error regardless of weather you include the routing elment of the address.

Any other thoughts or suggestion most welcome as I would really like to get to the bottom of the problem.

Thanks

J.

I'm guessing it's a dupe of http://drupal.org/node/197012.
