It's a long story but I had to use a Search API block in my theme's Header for the submit form & have a View set to display my map in another block within the right-sidebar. I'm trying to get the map view to pick up the nodes presented within the search results but am having problems, most likely down to having to use 2 separate blocks.

Any suggestions?

I also got the same problem. I have displayed the gmap but also need to display the locations on a separate block as an unformatted list in the same page using the same filters the map uses. I have tried using the entity views attach module but it didnt work. What if you edit the view tpl then add the gmap code on there?
