Quote in Address Field Causes Incorrect Geocoding [#2897420]

I noticed that geocoding an address with a single quote in it returns incorrect coordinates:

Smith's
200 Tramway Blvd SE
Albuquerque, NM 87123
United States

gives the incorrect coordinates:
35.065080700000, -106.649141700000

But when the following address is used:

Smiths
200 Tramway Blvd SE
Albuquerque, NM 87123
United States

gives the correct coordinates:
35.067112500000, -106.496429600000

I have another example, an address in the Netherlands:

Houtvester van 't Hoffweg 25, 3775 KB Kootwijk, Nederland

This returned no result at all, until I removed the quote.
