I tried to install the Front Page module, and now all I get is a white screen when I go to the administer link...

The installation of a module has nothing to do with core. Moving to the front page.module query. You may want to check your apache/http error logs for the error being thrown as well as report how much memory your server is set to use in php.ini

I recommend you download a fresh copy of the front page.module and upload it to your server, overwriting the existing one.

It sounds like it hasn't uploaded fully or correctly.

The issue as descrtibed doesn't have anything to do with the front page.module. I've tried to recreate this problem and can't.
