Hi Andre,

I placed my secondary links into the footer region. I have set a top and bottom margin for the footer. Bottom margin works fine but not the top margin. This is true if one or more floated elements are found above the footer. But works fine on some pages where there are no floated elements above it.

Why is the top margin being ignored on a cleared element such as the #footer when there are floated elements above it (#center)?

Please advice. Thanks.

Looks like our good friend Andre is busy.

Found the solution... Don't know if technically this is the right thing to do. Would appreciate any input.

You just have to wrap all the floating elements and contain them. Then set overflow:hidden. That solves my problem.
