Hello! I have Fotonotes module for Drupal 5, but i dont know, how to add new branch to cvs... When i'm solve this problem, right away upload module. Now, you may download module for Drupal 5 from http://fotonotes-en.romka.eu.
I was so excited when i read this.. But the module doesn't work, for me. The "edit footnotes" tab appears but i can see only the image (but js and css are loaded properly)
Yes demo works.
I think i have some conflicting modules, but in this moment i have tons of modules loaded for testing purposes. If i discover something, i will tell you.
For reference: my website is hosted on a shared host and running php 5.2.0-8+etch10 on apache 2.
I'm using PHP Zend Engine
Zend Engine v2.2.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2006 Zend Technologies
with the ionCube PHP Loader v3.1.32, Copyright (c) 2002-2007, by ionCube Ltd., and
with Zend Extension Manager v1.2.2, Copyright (c) 2003-2007, by Zend Technologies
with Suhosin v0.9.12, (C) Copyright 2006, by Hardened-PHP Project
with Zend Optimizer v3.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2007, by Zend Technologies
Since the backport to D5 has been released (thanks!), I'm changing the title to reflect the current issue. VNN, please open a separate issue in the future.
I'm actually not pursuing fotonotes anymore as I favor using Imagecache module over the Image module. I also thought it was feature lacking so I scrapped plans for using it. Number one thing for me is that users have to click on a tab to go to the notes weither there might or might not be any. I prefer Facebook type notes that exist on the default view. Anywho, I'm blabbering...
You should probably adjust the node.tpl.php, I'm guessing the function is loaded in $content. You would have to find the function in the module that creates this menu and see if you can print it manually. If you want to alter the function, if it is themable, you could re-create it in your template.php and then call it in your node.tpl.php. Sorry I can't provide any example code as that also stretches my knowledge of the inner workings, but someone else might be off help.
after configuring "clean urls" and the rewrite module in apache2 conf files (don't forget restarting the apache service) + creating httpd.conf and .htaccess (in document root) the control appeared above my images! maybe this helps some of you...
I am using Garland and clean urls, and fotonotes controls still don't appear.
Thanks for your posts, though. Otherwise, I would never had clicked into the white space, and would have thought fotonotes wasn't there, when it was only invisible.

mariusooms commentedRevert to a default theme like garland or minelli. Then it shows for me, just need to adjust the templates files if you have a custom theme.

It's there, it works, you just can't see it. :)
