Sending GET variable with path

The page I want to redirect people to contains flash content which needs to grab a parameter from the url in order to display some bespoke content.

It's more complicated that this for example if the flash content were a banner which displayed a name, I would need the url to be something like this...

www.mysite.com/flash-page?name=tim

I can't work out if it is possible to get this module to add the get parameter of "name" and it's value? I have tried using both the following links...

www.mysite.com/forward?path=flash-page?name=tim

&

www.mysite.com/forward?path=flash-page&name=tim

The first example looks like it is going to work but on closer inspection the link url in the forward page looks like this...

www.mysite.com/flash-page%3Fname=tim

The second example simply remove the name parameter resulting in link like this...

www.mysite.com/forward?path=flash-page

Any ideas?
