I may have simply missed the correct template term to do this, but if I want to set the subject to include the node title, that would be a really useful feature.

If it is possible, what is the relevant term, and if it is not, it would appear a good feature to add to the module.

Thanks,

J

Hi. I realise you closed this because it is duplicated, but the duplicate relates to Drupal 7. Is there a way of doing this in Drupal 6 at all? Thanks .. Rob

Unfortunately, no, this is a limitation of the 6.x and 7.x-1.x branches. To enable node title in the subject would require changing this line of code in the 6.x branch of forward.module:

$params['subject'] = t(variable_get('forward_'. $emailtype .'_subject', '!name has sent you a message from !site'), array('!name' => $form_state['values']['name'], '!site' => variable_get('site_name', 'drupal')));

At this point in the execution, the variable $content->title will contain the node title, assuming you are forwarding a node.
