After several hours of searching on drupal.org and google, I have not been able to find anything that solves my problem. I'm very new to Drupal, and I'm hoping that someone here can point me in the right direction.

We have a custom module that allows users update a safety procedure at a regional library. The update form for this module was written using the Form API and requires a CKEditor dependency. The module was also recently updated from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 from my understanding.

The values from the database display properly when the page is visited and when I go to the page to navigate the admin portion to update the values. When I click update after making a change to the values, the value returned is a short string valued called, "Array". The program continues forward as if a successful update had been committed.

Based on my reading of the syntax documentation between drupal 6 and 7, it looks to be properly migrated. Only change I had to make was changing $form_state['input'] to $form_state['values'].

When looking at the code, the input array holds the correct content entered and values from other fields. But, when I look at the values array, it only holds the value: "Array".

Example of values in input/content and values array using dpm():
Input: $...['input']['content']['value'] (String, 94 characters)
Values: $...['values]['content']['value'] (String, 5 characters)

What should I be looking for when troubleshooting this error, since it's returning the same value? Is there a different method using Devel I should try?

If you need me to provide code, please let me know and I can attach it (or if there is a better way, let me know).

I would appreciate any assistance on this issue. Thank you.
