Not sure if this is a support request or a bug.

I've installed Footnotes. There's no configuration so it should (?) work "out of the box". However:

  • The [fn] tag doesn't work. ie the editable text "[fn] blah [/fn]" produces the display: "[fn] blah [/fn]"
  • The tag does something ie the editable text "blah " produces the display: "blah" (plain text, not linked)

I also have Freelinking installed and working as expected, so might be a clash? Doesn't seem likely.

I'm going to post this as a support request.

I'd be grateful for any feedback at all from anyone who reads this, even if it is just to express sympathy!
