Add "category" as a field type. This could be tied in with the Taxonomy block to create a very powerful filtering system.
Specifically I would like to create a "request" Flexinode (name, request type, comments) and associate that with a specific Taxonomy block (request), thus creating a quick request entry that would display in the request block.
I hope this is not too confusing. Also if there is another way to to make a Category Specific Request Node please let me know.

t4him commentedWell, one thing I forgot to check. After I created the Flexinode, I went BACK to the Administer > categories Menu and guess what? The new content Type showed in the edit vocabulary menu.
Sorry for the confusion, but if you have any qeustions, please dont hesitate to ask.

zeroj commentedIf you enable that, the category will be displayed as a field on new nodes. I think that is what you are looking for.

Bèr Kessels commentedThis is the way Drupal works, right now. Flexinode is no different from other content types. They will only show up on the voc. edit page is enabled.
