The flexinode content add forum should show the associated taxonomy dictionary - currently it doesn't.
I've tried to create a products list using flexinode. I've given up, after I've discovered that the category selection listbox is not displayed in the flexinode content creation form.
I am patiently waiting for the next version - I've read there are many important flexinode development waiting around the corner.
Also, this post might be intresting : [patch] Flexinode + Taxonomy support in node_import

gtoddv commentedSure it works with taxonomy. Did you assign a category to flexinode? Flexinode should work like any other node type, you need to tell the node type what categories to use.

seannyob commentedVery true--some more specific instruction is perhaps in order, also: once you have created your flexinodes, let's say you created a node of "audio" so your users can upload audio files, you would go to
administer > categories > edit vocabulary
for each vocabulary, there is a list of node tyes. Your flexinode types will appear there as well. Go into each of your vocabularies (taxonomy) and check the box for your node type.
