Title is neither taken from node nor from the tab. In my case uses "Home".

Where do you see a "Flexi access page title" with this problem?

When I am looking at the form where you set the ACLs from a node, e.g.:
http://example.org/node/42/flexiaccess
the node title is shown under the breadcrumb leading to the node.

On a node pages‘ flexi access tab, there is no title, just the programmatically created form, see attached (translated to German with the displayed page title of the homepage instead of either the node title or the tab title which is translated to „Berechtigungen“ in the screenshot.

Still haven't got the foggiest idea what you are talking about. Are you complaining about that the string "Startseite" (Home page) is shown instead of the node's title? If that is your problem, I am unable to reproduce.

The fact that you haven't bothered to create an English version of the screen dump makes it extremely hard to understand where you are at. I've looked carefully at your screenshot, and I cannot see that anything in it comes from Flexi Access. AFAIK, the string "Permissions" (which I guess will be translated into "Berechtigungen" in German) does not occur in any tab created by Flexi Access. Has somebody translated "Flexi Access" into "Berechtigungen" just to confuse everybody?

The screenshot below shows how the Flexi Access looks when looking at node with the title "This is the node title" on a clean Drupal 7 install:

Screenshot

As you can see, the node title is shown, just as it is supposed to do.

The path from the Drupal root for this particular screenshot is /node/42/flexiaccess (42 is nid - the exact number will of course depend on the node).

To get this issue worked on, please point out the path of the page where the error can be inspected, and provide the exact steps to reproduce the error on a clean install of Drupal 7.

Hi @gisle, Thank you for your quick response.

I have to admit that my site is anything but a plain vanilla site. My assumption is that running a multilingual site may lead us to the root cause.

Titles are replaced there by a translatable title_field which could be the culprit. Please find attached the krumo.

Just a hint: The other tabs (/edit, /translate, /outline, /revisions, /publish and /unpublish) are properly getting the title info.

I am unable to reproduce this. Two and a half year has gone by, and nobody else has reported this.

Krumo.pdf shows the English title of the page to be "Improved Navigation on Internal Pages". This is translated to German as "Verbesserte Navigation im internen Bereich".

The string "Improved Navigation on Internal Pages" does not exists in Flexi Access, so whatever you see has nothing do do with this module. It works as designed and you need to look elsewhere.
