Maybe an ACL issue?

I have Flexi working just the way I want. My only concern (for my use case) is including node author in the ACL list automatically. I have no doubt this is going to trip up my users. They could very easily and accidentally remove themselves from permissions. If only a class could be added for the node author site builders/admins could hide the node author...if they so choose.

I believe this class must be added by ACL.
