Is there a way to have the filled in PDF saved without the user having to click on a link?

Thanks!

Hi penone, thanks for your request!

We've been hoping for feedback on implementing #2343507: FillPDF field. Currently only available for the 7.x-1.x branch, we will roll it out to 8.x-4.x as well within in the next weeks.

FillPDF field would basically accomplish autogenerating one or more PDFs just by editing a node or any other entity.
Feel free to test the patch on 7.x and/or tell us more about your particular use case, what you need and how you'd like it to work.

Regards, Pancho

Thanks for the update.

I actually use the D7 version extensively and love it. Does everything I need it to do.

Looking foward to seeing the D8 version mirror D7 but for the time being can work with just having the completed pdf saved after webform submmission - and without the user having to download or click a link.

You're already using the D7 version of #2343507: FillPDF field? :D

Yay! That'd be extremely motivating for us to finish the remaining raw ends and roll it out ASAP in our next 7.x-1.x and 8.x-4.x releases.
Feel free to tell us whatever may be further improved, as we're embarking on FillPDF's next level and are very grateful for any feedback!
