There are already a lot of stuff for integrating FF with OG / OG Vocab.
What is missing is a block and/or a browser ajax window that would be "group aware": I mean showing only the files that are in the context of the current group.
I love this module more and more...

miglius commentedThe FileFramework implements vocabulary (or og_vocab) browser blocks. They should be enabled in the file_browser module settings (Enable file browser blocks) and then configured in the Drupal blocks page.

jvieille commentedUnfortunately, this doesn't work well
- The browser block display is messy, almost unreadable with any theme. There are no settings for customizing its appearance
- the browser blocks of all groups of the user are always shown, or according to roles - the normal block behavior. Only blocks relevant to the current group should show up.
Thanks

jvieille commentedAny plan to refine this feature?
jvieille commentedI really have problem to handle files through taxonomy with OG.
- The OG Vocab block does not allow to customize the display of posts from a term (not allowing to use the customisable taxonomy_term view)
- FF way of handling OG terms is weird.
I thought that this FF feature would be the smartest solution and would help many users. It looks like a modest refinement, not really a new feature.
If you share the same concern, please support this requirement.
thanks

miglius commentedSince block width for us is not sufficient to put a browser, we rather user a og browser in the content area which is available at url 'node/NID/browser', where NID is the ID of the group node.
jvieille commentedI finally found it: the last tab in the group page...
Tried it, that fine.
Sorry for the disturbance
