i'm not sure where to start, if any errors are related so here goes.
vanilla d7 with fileframework and bitcache.
ran through the instructions to install on ubuntu, and finally got all the document mime converters to be installed. i tested with a .doc and a .docx file:

.docx file "could not be uploaded. Only files with the following extensions are allowed: jpg jpeg gif png txt doc xls pdf ppt pps odt ods odp."

i've got all the document mime types installed and enabled.

.doc files get uploaded to the bitcache/file directory on save, and then page goes blank. actually .txt files causes blank page as well.

not sure if i installed everything on server properly.
soffice -headless -accept="socket,port=8100;urp;"
looks like that starts the server and returns the following:

Fontconfig warning: "/opt/openoffice.org/basis3.4/share/fonts/truetype/fc_local.conf", line 33: Having multiple in isn't supported and may not work as expected

this module and open/libre is definitely the best way for drupal to manage file viewing. doesn't make sense to use external services when the open source is available for tighter integration. looking forward to the progress here.

I have FF D6 installed at the same server and it is working pretty well, so you can assume that conversion is working with libreoffice and jodconverter, and the other applications required, all works well.

So now let's go to the D7 issues:

  1. creaing the repositiry: (Storage adapter: FileFramework)
    on saving I got this:

  2. setting the File Framework to use my repository: on saving I got this message

  3. at mime converters: all of the convertions that have to do with libreoffice are disabled, those are working for the D6 version though. All the handlers are enabled
  4. adding a file: on uploading a file I got this message:

    and the file does not get created

  5. at the repositories list the total size for my repository is 20.59 MB since the creation of it, I mean without nothing in it yet

I hope this helps in development of this wonderfull framework for D7, and please don't abandon it
