I still have the same issue, too. The files inside the folder get deleted but the folder still resides. I tried it with almost every token available, but the folder still exists.
I have the feeling, that it is some bug with my WAMP (something concerning the WinXP system and readonly attributes), but I am very uncertain about it. I will test it with a LAMP and then report back.
I'm also getting the same issue. I'm using 1.4. The folder won't let me delete it manually, or change its permissions, even after disabling the module.

decipheredMarked it down from critical, a left over directory is annoying, but doesn't break anything or stop anything from working.
Will see if I can reproduce. I would also suggest updating to 1.3 and seeing if that fixes the issue.
