I have been trying (unsuccessfully) to get email notifications on file uploads and while debugging this problem I noticed following errors reported in Administer->Reports->Recent Log Entries on file uploads:

File uploads were under subdir created under filedepot "Top Level Folder" as admin user.
The file itself seems to get uploaded successfully because I appears in the browser and also under the filedepot directory on the server ?
Not sure if these are important or if these are preventing the email notification ?
cheers

ldav1s commentedI tried this also. I had both "new files" and "changes" checked (at least initially) and made sure I pressed the 'Update' button & reloaded the folder in the browser (just to be really sure).
I'm also a little unclear as to what the concept of what the file "changes" mean. Is it on new versions of the file? Is it on file deletion? Both?
I assumed a new version would trigger it.
When I had email notifications enabled for new files and changes, I didn't get any emails for new files or new versions.

I didn't see any errors logged as described above.
I did observe that the files seemed to come into filedepot as described above.
I checked the mail server logs and it didn't look like any email had been sent at all.
