It appears that many (including myself) have been struggling with filedepot hanging on the "Please wait..." loading prompt. It looks like in the current code, the YUI library component paths are being generated with a double slash, like this...

http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.7.0/build//utilities/utilities.js

The resulting redirect results in a 404.

Those using the google CDN probably won't notice the problem, as the following results in the correct js file...

http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/yui/2.7.0/build//utilities/utilitie...

One possible fix is removing the extra slash in theme/filedepot-mainpage.tpl.php, from...

      base: YUIBaseURL + '/',

...to...

      base: YUIBaseURL,

Alternately, using the google CDN http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/yui/2.7.0/build/ works without any filedepot code changes.

I have committed a fix for this issue for d6 and d7.
The only issue I see is that using a different cdn may cause issues - but the base configuration out of the box uses the Yahoo CDN and as such, this fix should be more than adequate.
