Hi Ahmed,
I can not reproduce this.
Can you install a default theme and provide more info?

ahmed.raza’s picture

This is the default theme loaded (Seven theme for administrator purposes). This is just how the page is loading only for this specific node which is of Directory listing content type all the other nodes' edit pages are loading and working perfectly as they should.

@clivesj, Here is the link to the filebrowser its public: http://cphrab.cfstaging.ca/cphr-alberta-web-file-browser

The page is asking for a login.
The png you posted here is not themed, is there something with your theming layer?

Sorry, forgot that I am sharing staging instance link. Here is the live site link: https://www.cphrab.ca/cphr-alberta-web-file-browser

"The png you posted here is not themed" That is the issue that I am reporting. You see, it seems the page doesn't load specifically for "Directory listing" content type node. And there is no custome themeing involved, it just simple default seven theme that comes with Drupal that we are using for Admin interface. I do not think the issue has anything to do with the theming. it is something else. Please watch the video I attached, it shows other nodes edit forms are loading properly but I when I go to this file browser node it doesn't load completely like shows in the PNG.

Thanks

OK, I get it.

When you edit a dir_listing node the only thing that happens is that the filebrowser fields get injected via hook_form_alter ( I know..this is very Drupal 5.0).

I think something goes wrong there but I think that PHP errors should be displayed then. It is easier for me if I have those errors.

I can try to replicate the error on my system if you give me the values for the node. You can find them in the table node_dir_listing on the row showing the nid.

The most important warning in my view is that the MYSQL server has gone away.
On a production server the settings my.cnf should be set to proper values. Is the warning on a production server or devel?
You can try to change the max_allowed_packet_size to a higher value and see if that resolves the issue.
Did you just started using FB on this site or was it working OK for some time.
How much dir listing nodes you have running (only one?)
Thanks

@clivesj, apologies for late response on this as I got busy with tasks. This can be closed as the problem was my mysql configs which has been now resolved.

Thanks
