When Lightbox and similar modules are enabled, loding /admin/structure/file-types/manage/image/file-display can take an excessive time. Due to all the "Enabled Display" modes this modules add to a Drupal installation.

I would suggest that if a module has more than (10) "Enabled Displays" they be loaded via ajax after the select boxes is selected.

It looks like Lightbox2 has been changed to not return a ridiculous amount of formatters in #1751666: Decrease the number of field formatters, which was the proper fix.
