First of all, nice work! This module is excellent and seems to work very well.
The one use-case I'm struggling with: If editors want to embed a link to the attachment within the node body, how should they get the alias while editing the node?
Looks like only the physical location of the attached file is displayed while editing a node. The only method I can think of is to have users attach a file, save the node, navigate to the attachment field and copy the shortcut (which would be the file alias depending on the 'display alias' setting).
Thanks in advance for any advice.

3dloco commentedHello,
+1 for a way to display the alias of the file on node edit.
I need to hide/prevent contributors/users from viewing the actual path to the file and the file name (for certain fields only), so displaying the alias would be great. In my case this functionality also enhances security as users can try to guess a pattern for files names and directories.
Appreciate any help,
Thanks,
KH
