I have installed this module, followed by Ctools and entity. I can see a menu item in admin > structure, and can create rule sets. But validations tab are not appearing against each field in respective content types.

I am using Drupal 8.4.1

I'm on 8.6.3 and I'm having the same issue. I can add the rule sets, but when I navigate to one of the fields, there is no validation tabs, or anything relating to this module. I know on older versions there was a UI module that needed to be enabled. There is no such module for this version, it appears?

In the 8.x branch field validations are managed at admin/structure/field_validation. There is no "validation" tab in field edit. Changing this to feature request, in case someone would do it as a contribution.
