Image pager shows unformatted list dots after a view block had been inserted to the page

- I have a content type called "machine" displaying amongst other fields photos.
- The photos are being displayed with fieldslideshow + color box.
- 1 Photo with a pager with all photos is shown (as shown in attached image "Correct display"

- then I had once inserted a block made from a view, which also contained photos as slideshow.
- however I removed the block again

- ever since the thumbnail photos in the image pager show the dot from a unformatted list. See "Faulty display with dots from unformatted list".

- Once I re-activate the block with the thumbnail slideshow, the thumbnail image pager is also fixed again.

==> I assume the onetime adding of the view-block has done something to something... but I have no idea what. When I look at the generated pages source, it seems like some divs have changed...
