Could we have an option in the settings to 'pause-on-hover', it is part of Cycle so should be simple to implement.

Great. Works as expected. Couple of minor things:

1. This error after updating... Notice: Undefined index: slideshow_pause in field_slideshow_field_formatter_settings_summary() (line 260 of /srv/lets.kentwell.co.uk/public/htdocs/sites/all/modules/field_slideshow/field_slideshow.module).
I assume this is because there is no upgrade path at the moment. The error cleared after I edited the display field (as you would expect).

2. It messed up my layout for the controls, shifting it down ~200px. A css problem, but not sure if its cause by my layout or not, will report back when I find out.

1. I've fixed this little notice, no big deal ;-)
2. I've just changed some css calculations (that's why it's not a 1.0 release yet ;-) ), so it must be a simple css definition in your theme to change as well I think. Let me know if it's not the case.
