Yes, I don't remember the number of times I've dreamed of such a module ;-) so I'm building it (for D7 first).
If you have suggestions…
For now, in my latest build, it can be attached to Image fields, and you can choose the image style, the link destination (original image, node, or nothing), and the caption (between the alt and the title text).

Hi

I'm keen to get a slideshow working on my D7 site (used Brilliant Gallery before - but it's not available for D7 yet).

I'm fairly new to Drupal - have installed jQuery plugins - could you give me a pointer to get this working and try it out?

Thanks,
Andrew

(Sorry - spent 10 minutes looking before I posted - as soon as I posted this, I then found the settings on manage display - dohhh....!)

Thanks!

You don't need to install any jQuery plugin. The Cycle plugin is included with the module.

Awesome!

I'm a newbie and I've a cuestion: How can I align to center the slideshow in my content block?

Thanks.

@bjlv00 : that's a theming/css thing.
Hard to answer without seeing the website, because all themes behaves differently.
Perhaps try .field-slideshow { margin: 0 auto;}

@bjlv00 assuming you are using jdanthinne method .field-slideshow { margin: 0 auto;}

the some parent element to .field-slideshow would need to be text-align: center; I believe.

Good luck!
