Thanks for this great module.

I would love to have a feature which enables to display a limited number of images on the node (e.g. only the 1st) but displays all images within the colorbox.
Currently when I limit the display to 1 images also only 1 is shown within the colorbox.

Closing old feature request issues as we're establishing this module as feature complete and acknowledging that it is no longer under active development. This was a perfectly reasonable request at the time, but at this point we are only going to be fixing bugs.

For Drupal 8, 9 and beyond, please consider Field Limiter or Field Formatter Range.
