This is a simple module that provides settings to limit the number of values to display on fields with multiple values.
The module extends the field display settings for fields which permit multiple values. Site administrators can specify how many values to display for each display mode (e.g. the teaser). Optionally, an offset can be specified to skip some values.
Note that at this time this module is in maintenance mode: We'll be fixing bugs, but not adding new features.
Drupal 7
Dependencies
The Drupal 7 version depends on Field formatter settings API module.
Drupal 8 + 9
Consider Field Limiter and Field Formatter Range modules (see a comparison between them). Given the differences in architecture between D7 and D8+, we recommend migrating to one of these solutions.
This functionality is being considered for inclusion in Drupal core in D9+. See #1234624: Limit the number of fields to display.
