Hello,

I have enabled and installed both Upload and Comment Upload, however attachments seem to be ignored. I have done numerous tests on my own set up and also tried to send a file on the test site.

Is there something in particular that needs to be done in order for this to work or is there something that needs to be fixed?

They work fine (http://femailtest.scratchpads.eu/node/2178). The test site only allows files with the extensions "jpg jpeg gif png txt doc xls pdf ppt pps odt ods odp".

Is there a particular setting that enables this to work? I have upload and comment upload both enabled on the site. Permissions are set, and I am able to upload an attachment from within Drupal, however attachments are not posted when the node/comment is created from an email.

If there is a MTA or some setting that needs configuring, any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure where the issue could be I'm afraid Alex. I'll have a look into this on Monday. I can only suggest adding in some debugging messages within the femail drush file.

I got it to work. The problem had to do with how my server is set up. Basically the each installation of drupal runs as its own user through suphp. Then when my mail user tried ran the drush script the user didn't have permissions to write the file.

In short, it was a file permissions issue :)

Thanks

Great to hear you got it working. I should probably add documentation regarding the fact that two different users (web and mail) will need write access to the files directory. It's difficult to add a check for this, as it probably isn't possible for the web user to know who/what the mail user is.

Scrub that, I can add a check in the drush file. I'll try and add this in a future release.
