Because of my Problems to map comma separated terms in a CSV File to other Taxonomy Terms I start this new Issue.
Does anybody use FEEDS 6.BETA.10 successfully for an import of an CSV File AND map a number of terms in a cell to Taxonomy Terms?
If yes, can i please get the information, what the cell content has to look like? Because with my on VIEWS created CSV Feed i can´t map single terms anymore!
For better understanding:
In Beta09 a cell "Preise" with the content "Auto, Gutscheine","Adressspiel" could be mapped to three single terms "Auto", "Gutscheine"," Adressspiel"
In Beta10 the same cell gives only one term "Auto Gutscheine Adressspiel"
The last recommendation from the maintainer was to use a mini module for this problem. But this semms more complicated to me, as maybe just change the output of the used CSV File.
So would be very thankful to get an information, what the content of a CSV Cell has to look like and how it should be seprated to get imported into single terms?

Thoor commentedBecause it seems nobody else needs to map several terms to a taxonomy,i tried the recommended way of alex_b ... with an mini module.
Unfortunately I am not to good in PHP, and therefore it is not working for me.
I created a new feed with the separators, shown in the example mini module: http://www.gewinnspiele.be/gewinnspielfeed-neu/csv
The I created a folder term_separator under sites/all/modules with the file term_separator.info and the file term_separator.module which is the code from the github example.
The term_separator.info looks like this:
----------------
; $Id: term_separator.info,v 1.0 2010/11/24 12:00:00 thoor Exp $
name = MultiValueCSVParser
description = Create single Terms with Feeds Module
core = 6.x
package = Mini modules
version = VERSION
; Information added by thoor on 2010-11-24
version = "6.x-dev"
project = "term_separator"
--------------
But when I trie to activate the module, i am getting an error:
Fatal error: Class 'FeedsCSVParser' not found in C:\xampplite\htdocs\gewinn-umsonst\sites\all\modules\term_separator\term_separator.module on line 20
Can anybody give me an hand to this?

eatsleepdev commentedThoor,
Did you have any luck getting this to work? I had the same problem myself so I put together the module and it works.

After its installed, just change the parser to "Feeds Taxonomy" and make sure each taxonomy term is preceded by '\#'

podox commentedI ended up using Feeds Tamper to get this to work. Install the module, create a new Tamper set called taxonomy_explode (or whatever). Add an 'explode' plugin and use a comma as the separator.
The downside is that you can't set this plug-in as a default in your Feeds importer settings, so must be applied when importing each feed, but I believe default settings are forthcoming.
I used this successfully on a RSS feed, I haven't tested it on a CSV file.

asb commentedImho this misbehaviour is a regression as earlier versions of feeds were able to properly process comma separated sets of taxonomy terms; thus I'm changing this to a feature request since support for comma-separated taxonomy terms is a frequent requirement for Feeds import.
'Feeds Tamper' would be an incredible workaround, but sadly it doesn't work at all for me when processing CSV files.
Edit: Actually, only the "recommended" release of 'Feeds Tamper' doesn't work; the "Explode" plugin of feeds_tamper_6.x-1.x-dev from 2012-Apr-25 does the job.

tterranigma commentedYou should use Feeds Tamper for sth like that. See #1370754: Mapping keywords/tags into content type via importer too.
