alex_b commentedFirst, please upgrade to the latest Feeds version.
- Then, confirm whether full node view has same length as what's present in the feed you import.
- And describe the configuration of the importer that you are using (check on admin/build/feeds).

deggertsen commentedI've confirmed that I'm on the latest version of Feeds (6.x.1.0-alpha15).
I'm not totally sure what you mean by the full node view having the same length as what's present in the feed I import but when I view the full node it appears the same as the teaser with 58 words before being cut off with "[...]".
As for the configuration of the importer. I've tried several different configurations. The default settings for the "Feed" importer, I've tried to override it and change the content type as well as a few other things and several different combinations to no avail. I've only tried the HTTP Fetcher, Common syndication parser, and Node Processor as those are the only ones that appear to make sense for importing RSS Feeds rather than CSV, XML, or OPML files.
** Update **
Ok, I'm an idiot. The feeds I was trying to import only displayed a summary of the article thus explaining why Feeds was only importing the summary. Once I tried to import a feed that was setup to display the full article it worked just fine. So in other words Feeds is working great, I was just being an idiot.
Thanks for responding.

dion6898 commentedTo piggyback off of deggertsen's issue, I too am experiencing the same issue of importing only article teasers instead of the full node (http://feeds2.feedburner.com/rismedia/lgnb). However, I want to be able to pull the entire text into each node. How can I achieve this? To add, when using the 'Common Syndication Parser', the Item URL field contains the link to the full article. Is that a start?

xenophyle commentedI am new to feeds and I had the same question. Someone told me feeds aren't meant to be used this way--downloading and publishing the entire article on your site--because it would be a copyright violation.
If this is not true, it looks like you would need to write something that would go to the url and scrape the content.
