I need to create a feed that imports the nodes from XML file on the internet into nodes they will be active for a week or so and i need the NID/VID to not change.
1) It imports only 1 node w/ GUID selected
2) It imports and is successful w/ Title selected
3) It updates 0 nodes w/ the Titles selected and not GUID
4) Then check GUID and it updates one that shows up in red notes when vieing the content but the message says it updated all 4 and it dose not.
I have attached a PDF of screen shoots of my mapping configuration. If I keep the GUID checked it wont make new nodes sometimes. If I select title it updates some times and most times it only updates one rather than all.
The message sometimes says it updated the nodes, but when I go to look at the content it is not updated. In one of the tests it worked update the nodes and making one new node?
How can I simply update the fields in the NID/VID?

megachrizIn order to update existing nodes, you need to have a value on the source that is unique and map that source field to a target than can be marked as unique, for example the target "GUID".
If Feeds reports it updates multiple nodes, but has in fact updated one node, then the source you defined as unique is not unique. Basically, Feeds had updated the same node 4 times and so it reported that 4 nodes were updated.
